Jimineezer

We've been kicking up a lot of dust at The Compound and beating it into submission while making the place pretty for our TJB cowriter, Jim, who's flying in for a visit. We're all very excited to see him. Especially River, who's heard wonderful things about his Uncle Jim, and is at the vet right now having his blood tested to see how he coagulates without Vitamin K supplements.

Becky's out now, ridding the car of River hair before she picks up Jim from the airport. I'm here in the Home Office, enjoying a rare moment of silence, and am about to slap together the second half of TJB Book Five's first chapter. I'd hoped to have it finished before Jim got here, so we could review it and see what works, what inspires us, what doesn't, and then try to map out the rest of the book from there.

And now I just drooled coffee on my favorite white linen L.L. Bean shirt.

Even though he's not here yet, I blame Jim.
