quittin' time

I got a lot of work done tonight, so that's good. I read about half of SINCE YOU'RE GONE and didn't really have that many edits. Mainly, I suppose, because Becky had already read through it before me and did a lot of work on it. She's very thorough, that writing partner o' mine. Plus, the lot of us had done a read-through a few months ago. I can't tell you how many times I've read this manuscript. But, the good thing is that I'm still laughing at certain moments and things the characters do. That's a relief. If you can read something twenty times that you wrote almost a year ago and still laugh at it, then hopefully your readers will think it's funny too. At least, that's the goal.

Anyway, I think I'll be able to finish the second half tomorrow. Then I can get back to working on (or trying to work on) the next Lambert & Cochrane Alyson book. It freaks me out how close our deadline is. One more month. Aieeeeeeee! AhhhhhhhhhhhFreak Out!

My eyes are crossing. I think I'll go to bed early. (He said, at 5 AM)
