gettin' to work

I'm about to embark on a journey. Fortunately, it's not a physical journey, since I hate to leave the house. No, it's a mental journey, and my only carry-on item is a red pen. I'm about to do my final read-through and edit of SINCE YOU'RE GONE, the fourth Timothy James Beck book. The manuscript is finished, we've all read through it, and now we're putting the finishing touches on it; rewording, fixing, restructuring, correcting typos. All that fun stuff. It's not a daunting process, but it can be tedious. Especially since I always start reading, and forget that I'm supposed to be working. The manuscript is due to Kensington on December 15th, so I'd better get crackin'. Now, if only I could find my red pen.
