Who are you? Pt. 3

I know, these "found dog" entries are probably getting boring. But, hey, when was my life ever exciting to begin with?

So yeah, big goofy yellow lab mix is still with us, and he still hasn't told us his name. He's slowly becoming the guest that wouldn't leave, and we're all in discussions about whether or not to keep him. I mean, he yawns and throws himself down on the floor for ninety percent of his day, so he fits right in. Whether or not we keep him, we decided that having him neutered is a must, so we scheduled that little operation for next Wednesday. He'll also be checked for heartworm. I bought him puppy food, hoping to fatten him up, and I've been working on some basic commands and leash training. He's really good on walks anyway, but I like to train dogs to sit anytime they come to an intersection, or before they cross the road. Hopefully, it keeps them from just running out blindly into the street.

I also need to train him not to jump up, which hopefully he'll stop doing after he's neutered, since he's mainly trying to jump up and hump my leg. But he's scratched me a few times because of this, so if I get lockjaw and die, would someone make sure my share of book royalties gets donated to Aids Foundation Houston? I'm sure they could use the extra nickel and dime a year.
