how you doin'?

hooked on a feeling (Just for Beck.)

Rex went to the vet this morning. Actually, every dog on The Compound except for Pixie went to the vet today, much to Pixie's dismay. Becky told me that Pixie alternated between very mopey and very belligerent that her buddies had all gone missing. Anyway, back to Rex. The vet said that his lip will heal just fine on its own and that no shots or antibiotics are necessary. Great! So the visit was free, right? As if! Since he was there, Rex had his regular check-up a little early. Which means he had shots anyway. Which is why I'm currently looking at the above face now.

Yesterday, I mentioned chauffeuring one of Scouts Honor's dogs, Annie, around town. Annie currently needs a foster home, as do many SH dogs, so if you know someone in Houston who can take care of her, please let me know! Scout's Honor will provide everything Annie will need--food, medical care, leashes, etc.--if you'll provide the roof and some love until she finds a new home. Below is a photo of Driving Miss Annie.
