the happening

I'm not known as a planner, but there are a couple of upcoming events on my calendar that I thought bear mentioning. On Saturday, November 1st, EZ and I can be found beneath the Scout's Honor tent at the Meet and Greet Adoption Event from 1 PM to 6PM at 1136 Heights Blvd, 77008. On November 6th at 7 PM, I'll be attending Scout's Honor's first annual Movie Night and Silent Auction fundraiser at Landmark's River Oaks theater and the Epicure Cafe. I'm excited to watch Disney's Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey, the 1993 remake, which I've never seen, in one of my favorite theaters. If you're in Houston, please join us!

Also, Scout's Honor's new Web site was launched. Check out their poster girl for special needs pets! And the charming and handsome Frito, of course. If we weren't at our capacity for the legal three dog limit, I'd adopt him based on his name alone.*

*No I wouldn't! That's a silly reason to adopt a pet!
