get the funk out

Get this: I'm leaving the house. Crazy, right? Not only am I leaving The Compound, but I'll be gone for about a week. I'm dog and house sitting for L____ in the suburbs while she's on vacation with her family. Because her son is going, too, I'll be watching his three dogs as well. Rex is staying at The Compound until Monday, because he loves to play hard with the other dogs and I'm not going to let that happen until the stitches in his eye are out, then he can come to the 'burbs and play. Becky's going to stay in my apartment tonight with EZ. Tomorrow afternoon I'll come back to pick EZ up and take her the annual Meet 'N' Greet adoption event in the Heights (information in my sidebar), which will be lots of fun, and hopefully she'll be adopted. If you're in the area, please stop by and say Hi, grab a hot dog or hamburger, indulge in a snow cone, pet some dogs and cats, and feel free to adopt or foster a wonderful animal. Or, just come by and meet EZ. She's famous and semi-bionic, you know.
