This is a photo of EZ and I at the vet the other day that Laura took on her iPhone:

And this is a photo Laura sent to me of Fruit Snack, a puppy she's fostering who was rescued from some backyard breeders. He was the runt of the litter and they were letting him starve:

EZ and I met Fruit Snack yesterday when we went to the monthly meet and greet adoption event in the Heights where Scout's Honor and other rescue organizations bring their adoptable dogs. Because EZ has major social issues I thought, What better place to take her than a place filled with people, dogs, and lots of noise? She handled it all like the trooper that she is and seemed to enjoy the outing. Everyone certainly enjoyed meeting her, since they'd heard so much about her via word of mouth and newsletters. EZ didn't snap at anyone, person or dog, so that was rewarding, though she did growl when someone took her picture. I'm pretty sure the growl meant, Please, no photos. Call my agent.
