the sun always shines on tv

It's a beautiful day, so I tried to spend some time outside. I played frisbee with Rex. Threw it once, he chased it, picked it up and ran back with it. Score! He chased the second throw, but that was it. I guess we'll have to build up to a second go.

I pruned some shrubbery, did some weeding, and pulled out some dead weeds, all while dodging huge asteroids of pollen and dust that were flying through the air. It looks nice out, but the air quality is horrendously thick with allergens. Luckily, I don't seem to be reacting to it. You can't see me, but I'm knocking on wood.

I just got back from walking Rex and Margot. I'm hoping that regular walks together might make Margot like Rex more than...why sugar coat it?—more than the blatant disgust and hatred she displays daily. I think it's working. They're both excellent on walks, and they seem to realize I'm in charge. I may be a failure at interacting with humans, but at least I'm winning with canines.

I got my signed contracts back from Haworth. I'm ecstatic. Can't wait to start writing. (He says that now...)
