it was a very good year

Last night I dreamed (that somebody loved me and) I was to be married and my best friend from high school, Traci, was escorting me from Maine to Houston on a train. We were in a train station and I was freaking out about getting to Houston on time, until I realized I didn't care about that at all, and what I was really freaking out about was the fact that I didn't want to get married and that I wasn't in love with whomever it was that I was to marry. Then a train derailed and crashed through the train station.

It was at that moment that Rex jumped onto the bed and woke me up, and I heard thunder crashing outside. Rex curled up next to me, quivering, so I drew the covers up to our necks and we dozed of and on for another hour or two. Off and on, I thought about how unbeliveable it is that Rex came to The Compound a year ago today. Time flies. Here's a list of Rex's greatest hits:
  • After two weeks, Rex finally learns that cats mean business.
  • Rex learns that I'm not a morning person.
  • Rex runs free.
  • Rexfords ripped my flesh. RZZZZZ!
  • It's exhausting to be Rex.
  • The devil's new duds.
  • Rex brings back legwarmers.
  • Rex tastes Fritos, wants more.
  • Car? Car? Is that the car? Car?
  • Rex's lovely doggie lumps.
  • Rex follows in the paw prints of St. River.
  • Rexford, the soundtrack.

  • Cheers to Rexford G. Lambert!

    I guess I'll keep him. We'll see.
