a sighting

Becky and I left the compound tonight. Did you see us? Tim Brookover invited us to the OutSmart Magazine holiday party at the Lovett Inn. It took us forever and a day to find a place to park. (Okay, perhaps I exaggerate. Maybe forever. Alright, it only took a day.) Everyone was asked to bring canned food donations for Stone Soup, so we brought a few cans of Starkist Tuna. We met some excellent people; poets, musicians and artists, of course. Funny how we just gravitate to those types. Heh. And we saw some familiar faces, which is always wonderful. It was fun, and I'm glad we went.

I wish we had a digital camera, so I could upload some visual mementos from the evening. 'Cause we looked pretty stylin' in our party clothes. However, there was someone taking photos for OutSmart, and they snapped us w/Tim B., so maybe they'll turn up in the January issue. However, I'm not sure if I'll show up on film. We'll see.
