Today is, once again, the aniversary of my birth. I'd like to thank my parents for not stopping after having my brother. And my father, for persevering and agressively pressing onward after encountering that bridge that was out on the way to the hospital so I wouldn't be born in a car. Although, maybe that's why I have no desire to own an automobile. Hmmm...

Anyway, I don't feel older. In some ways I feel like I'm still a teenager, but in other ways I feel like I'm teetering on the brink of death. Or is that sanity? I get the two confused, sometimes. I'm on the edge of something, I know that much. Maybe it's a breakthrough, or maybe it's a breakdown. Maybe this entire life has been a dream. We'll see. What I do know is that I've been getting birthday greetings and wishes from some fantastic people, who are near and far. They make me smile, make me feel appreciated, make me glad I'm doing what I'm doing. Thank you for that.

Now let's see what's in that present downstairs.
