what I need

Even though his photo hasn't been posted in quite some time, Rex graciously agreed to give his Rex Tuesday spot to ten dogs in need when he read the following email from Laura, his attorney and Scout's Honor Rescue board member:

Friends,

Well, in the spirit of the holiday and a desperate call from an overflowing animal control, we went out on a limb to save a group of TEN (yes, TEN) precious pooches. Call us crazy, but we think each one of these guys is worth it, and we are so excited to find them forever homes! How can you help? Two ways! First, we are in desperate need of fosters for these cuties! Second, we sure could use some donations to help get them all settled! You can make donations for these cuties directly on our website at www.scoutshonor.org and you can contact us at info@scoutshonor.org if you are interested in fostering any of these sweet babies!

Hunter: 18 month old Chocolate lab. 67 pounds, already neutered, loves everything. Going to HT tomorrow. Lab to the T on personality. I think if he saw a pool, he would take an instant leap.

Maisy: 5 year old black lab, was likely a breeder dog. 71 pounds. In heat now. SUPER sweet. edit: SHE HAS A FOSTER!

Gomer: 75 pound chocolate lab mix. Vets says is just about all lab, just a big guy. He is all 75 of his pounds though. His tail will literally knock you across the room with excitement. Loves treats more than life. Happy dog. His feet are huge, everything about him is huge in person.

Molly: 3 year old Chow/spaniel mix. 50 pounds. Sweet and happy girl. She is a cuddly lover girl.

Chloe: She was a shelter favorite & they held her for months hoping for rescue. 18 months, 42 pounds, Staffie Mix. She is an absolute lovebug.

Dempsey: 2 years old, lab/setter mix. 43 pounds. Fluffy tail, a face to die for. Did a number on his nose at some point, but healing okay. Easy going personality. Likes to lean into you and would make a great buddy.

Kiley: Yellow lab mix, 33 pounds full grown at 2 years old. Total baby face & looks like a puppy in person. Absolutely petrified and needs foster ASAP. She has been in kennel with Lila at Laporte, so they are in a run together at the vet to help her stay comfy.

Foxy: Looks like a giant Doxi/terrier/Catahoula mix. Has body and legs of Doxi. Has a real spring in her step, happy and energetic. Lives for belly rubs. 31 pounds and 4-5 years old

Lila: Also looks like a puppy in person with a baby face. She is 41 pounds and 18 months old. Has happy tail and thumps when she thinks you might just be thinking about talking to her. Happy girl who I feel certain will be mischievous. edit: SHE HAS A FOSTER!

Charley: Fabulous Hound/Rhodesian Mix. 65 pounds, 2 years old. Sweet, mellow, loveable, easy going guy. Just wants to be someone's "good dog."
