An email from Scout's Honor:

Friends,

Scout's Honor has lots of dogs in the program right now with several of them needing foster homes. We have someone for everyone!! Please consider opening your home to one of these precious babies until a forever home can be found. Scout's Honor provide a crate, food, and cover all medical costs for every foster. Please also consider making a donation for their care at www.scoutshonor.org

PUPPIES (for those of you that need your fix of puppy breath and puppy kisses!):

MAVERICK & OLGA- These sweet things are approx 7 weeks old. They have mange and are being treated. They will be ready to go into foster care later this week.

PETEY - This cute boy is 12 weeks and around 20-25 lbs already. He'll be a good medium-large sized boy when full grown. This guy is as lovable as they come, and he's very gentle. This handsome boy is shy around strangers and new animals, but warms up quickly. Seriously, look at that face!

DOGS:

TIM & LEXI- - these angels are about 6 months old. They were adopted a couple of months ago and returned due to a relocation. They don't have to be fostered together.

IZZY - Look at those crystal blue eyes on this Husky mix! She stops people in their tracks with her beautiful looks and then keeps their attention with her beautiful personality. Izzy has a smile on her face all the time and she is a free spirit that loves life. Izzy is approx 18 months old. She currently weighs 50 pounds, but we expect her to weigh closer to 60 once she fills out a bit. She is currently staying at Happy Tails and having a great time, but would prefer a foster parent to show all her love too!

NALA - This pit mix girl maybe named after a Disney character, but she hasn't had the fairy tale life! She's a young pit mix girl that was rescued from deplorable conditions. A good Samaritan found this girl with her chain all twisted and skin and bones. She fed her and gave her water for a month since the owners banished her to the back yard and never once dealt with her. Once she contacted Scout's honor - we got over to her, unchained her and she's been safe at our vet ever since. After all her hard luck, she is still full of kisses and love. Did I mention LOTS of kisses??

NIKI - This sweet pit mix girl is about 50lbs and is people friendly. She is fairly energetic and calms with a touch of a hand. She is an absolute sweet dog, with a gentle (but very high energy) disposition for humans. She's interested in all the things around her!

CAINE - his story is a sad one. While he was rescued over 2 years ago and placed in a loving home, his owner took a job in the UK and wouldn't subject Caine to the animal immigrations laws OR turn the job down so she could keep Caine. So Caine is back with us and staying at Happy Tails. He is a very playful, goofy and loving doggie. He is a bit confused why he hasn't been able to go back home. Caine is housetrained too and would be a very easy foster. He is approx 3 years old, 80 pounds and is a Doberman mix. Pure love with this one!

If you can foster any of these angels, please contact us at info@scoutshonor.org
